Our "MoodleSchool Onsite" professional development package is now available.
Key features
- You have a dedicated Moodle specialist working on-site to support your e-learning and ICT professional development strategy
- without carrying the overhead of a full-time teacher position
- Your support contract period can be 6 or 12 months
- Your specialist will be available on-site to work with staff in groups, or one-to-one (ideal for senior staff and management), for one week each month
- Hours are flexible and negotiated to suit your individual school needs
- Software and staff development can be covered in areas such as:
- Moodle
- e-learning pedagogy and design
- Office applications (e.g. Microsoft Office and Open Office)
- expert training in Word, excel, PowerPoint etc.
- Google Docs
- Graphics (Photoshop, GIMP, and others)
- Skype and other desktop communication applications
- Screencasting using Camtasia, WINK, etc.
- Up-skilling in emerging Web 2.0 technologies (Flickr, Facebook, etc.)
- Online gaming e.g. Second Life awareness
