ExabisIf you are using Moodle and would like to extend it and use as an ePortfolio system, but without the added complexity of a separate application, talk to us about integrating the Exabis ePortfolio system with your Moodle site.

Students can build up their ePortfolios collecting weblinks, files and notes within individually defined categories, publish ePortfolio artefacts to specific target-groups, use views to get reflections and comments submitted by other persons, as well as import uploaded assignments from within the Moodle.  In addition the ePortfolio can be saved as a SCORM package which is a standardised scheme and file format for the export of learning-based data, and this can be used for further work.

Some of the key features include:

  • Personal information page (with introduction, CV/resume, etc.)
  • Category manager for Categories and Subcategories
  • Document manager, allowing links to be created within Categories and subcategories (e.g. for restricting published work
  • Artifacts publisher, for document sharing by users of the same Moodle installation or as an external internet link to a document
  • Self-assessment and documentation of personal advancement in a field of learning;
  • Commenting - enabling creation of feedback loops
  • Export manager enables the transmission of Portfolios in a standard SCORM zip format
  • Import manager, allows the sharing of assignments within the same Moodle installation
  • Association of competencies with Portfolio artifacts
  • Notification of sharing views
  • Grouping of views by user
  • Interfacing with ePOP (electronic Personality Oriented Portfolio) a smartphone-based application for the Exabis ePortfolio
